How Do I Remove The Viruses Blocked By Norton?

Norton says my computer is secured because it’s blocked, but that means the virus is still there. How do you remove it? I don’t want any complicated other ways or people telling me to switch to other anti virus programs. I just want to find a way to remove the viruses within Norton.

Hi Bobby,
This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team responding to your question.
When Norton AntiVirus, Internet Security or Norton 360 is informing you that your computer is “Safe” it is telling you that it has not detected any threats and your computer is indeed safe.
All 3 products have real time scanners which, when set up correctly, constantly scan for infections, attacks, etc.If something is found a notification will appear and when you click on it it will advise you of the infection and how to resolve it The most important thing to do is to make sure that Automatic LiveUpdate is enabled so that updated definition files are constantly being applied to your installation.
Thanks,
Mike

You should be able to click on the name of the problem and it’ll take you to their website where it’ll give you step by step instructions for removing the virus from your computer. Good luck!!
