How Do I Turn Off My Norton Protection Completely Without Uninstalling?

My 60-day Norton free trial subscription is coming to an end and I am going to switch to Avira and Spybot. However, I want to make sure my Norton protection system will not interfere with Avira or Spybot in the future. I want to completely turn off my Norton protection software without uninstalling the program. How do I do this? Thanks in advance!

Turn on or turn off Norton Internet Security
1 Start Norton Internet Security.
2 In the left pane, click Status & Settings.
3 Click Security.
4 Click Turn on or Turn off.

Hi Hawks,
This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.
If you have another anti virus product installed, you will need to fully remove Norton from your system. You can do this by following the instructions below.
1. Click on the following link to download the Norton Removal Tool:http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsg…
2. After you run the tool, restart your computer .Log in to Windows again and run the removal tool again. Restart your computer after it is finished running the second time as well. This should remove anything left behind on your computer.
Thanks,
Mike
